Italy and Uzbekistan textile association sign memorandum

The Italian Textile Machinery Manufacturers Association (ACIMIT) reported that a delegation from Uzbekistan visited the association’s headquarters in Milan. The Uzbek delegation consists of government officials and textile manufacturers. During this visit, the Italian Textile Machinery Manufacturers Association and Uzbekistan Textile Association signed a memorandum of understanding under which the Italian Association of Textile Machinery Manufacturers will provide textile technology to textile manufacturers in Uzbekistan. The Italian Textile Machinery Knowledge Association reported that in 2010, Italian textile machinery manufacturers exported 2.4 million euros of textile machinery to Uzbekistan.
