According to the cotton planting progress report issued by the US Department of Agriculture on April 21, as of April 20th, among the 15 cotton-producing states, 10 states including Arizona, Texas, and California have already started planting. The fastest progress has been made. California has reached 90%, and the national average progress is 9%, which is 1 percentage point lower than last year and 2 percentage points lower than the average of the same period in the past five years.
