Yonghe Wang wants to make “Starbucks” in Chinese Tea House

The Chinese fast food king Yonghe, who has always insisted on a 24-hour business model, is trying to change. After the country's chain stores were converted to new stores, “Happy Bee”, the largest catering company in the Philippines, which is the “Yonghe King” holding group, said that it will introduce another “ChunShuiTang” teahouse in China. In the future, the brand will be vigorously expanded and it is intended to be a "Starbucks"-style chain of tea shops.

Wang Lu, Director of System Department of Yonghe Dawang Food and Beverage Group, stated that the introduced “ChunShuiTang” tea shop has matured in Taiwan and has 24 stores, making it one of the largest tea brands in the region. The Happy Bee Group has been hoping to introduce more brand developments in the Chinese mainland market after it acquired an 85% stake in Yonghe Dawang. In addition to the "Spring Water Club," its group's flagship foreign fast food flagship "Happy Bee" also plans to introduce the Chinese market for the first time at the end of this year.

In February 2004, “Happy Bee”, the largest catering group in the Philippines, formally acquired 85% of the shares of Yonghe King Food Group. Previously, the "New Eastman" from South East Asia had 400 stores around the world. After being acquired, Yonghe King has innovated its product line and facade decoration. At present, more than 90 stores across the country have successively switched to red and yellow LOGOs that are consistent with their new club "Happy Bee" style.

"We just want to call Starbucks, and we will use Spring Water Hall as a 'Starbucks' in the Chinese Tea House." According to related parties of the Happy Bee Group, Happy Bee will be responsible for the business expansion of "Spring Water" in the Mainland. The investment plan is to expand the brand to 30 or so in five years. The major cities to be set up are Shanghai, Guangzhou, Beijing and other small-capital consumption regions.
