The difference between knitting and weaving
Textile fabrics for clothing can be divided into three categories: woven (woven) fabrics, knitted fabrics and nonwovens. The first two are woven from yarns or filaments through a weaving process, and the latter are processed by bonding, fusing or other mechanical or chemical processing of textile fibers.
1. Woven fabric - a fabric formed by interlacing warp and weft perpendicularly. The basic organization is plain, twill, satin, and the woven fabric is composed of these three basic tissues and the tissues that change from each other.

Knitted fabrics are roughly classified into two types: weft knitted fabrics and warp knitted fabrics.
Weft-knitted fabrics feed the yarn from the weft direction, and the same yarn is sequentially bent into a loop and nested together. Our most common sweater is a weft knitted fabric.
The warp knitting stitches are oriented in the opposite direction to the weft knitting. They are one or several sets of yarns arranged in parallel, which are fed in the warp direction, bent into loops and sewed together. Knitting is woven from a single yarn. Woven is woven from two yarns of warp and weft. The simplest method is that if a fabric has a raw edge, it is woven.
